Questions and licensing

Everything people ask before copying a button

Short answers about the license, the code you get, and what the matching engine does. If something here is still unclear, the methodology writeup goes one level deeper.

Can I use these CSS buttons in commercial projects?
Yes. Every button in the free catalog is MIT licensed, so you can use and adapt the code in personal or commercial work without attribution.
Do the buttons require JavaScript or a UI framework?
The core examples use plain HTML and CSS. ButtonCraft can also export wrappers for React and styled-components, plus SCSS when you want it.
Is ButtonCraft a CSS button generator?
Yes — every style opens in a live workbench where you change the label, color and size (plus the corner radius on most styles), then export the result as CSS, React, SCSS or styled-components.
Can I use these buttons in a Tailwind CSS project?
Yes. Each button ships as a self-contained CSS class, so it coexists with Tailwind utilities — add the class next to your utility classes and keep the rest of your setup unchanged.
How does matching UI work?
ButtonCraft compares visual properties such as palette, contrast, corner style, depth, typography and motion, then recommends modals, inputs, cards and other components that share the same design language.

The short version of the license

Every button in the free catalog is MIT licensed: use it in personal and commercial work, modify it, ship it, no attribution required. ButtonCraft Pro UI kits are covered by a separate commercial license, and nothing you copy from this site sends a request back to it — the CSS is self-contained.

Two optional extras load only if you allow them. Every button, preview and line of code works exactly the same either way. What each one does
